Christian Correspondence School?

Q: I would like to hear from families about their experiences with Christian correspondence schools.I am trying to make a decision for next year. (7-12)I would appreciate any advice or recommendations.

A:I am planning on enrolling my daughter in the Clonlara home based education program next year. I must admit that I do not have experience of my own to share, but friends that have used it have been pleased with it, especially for the high school level. The URL is: http://www.clonlara.org There are minimum standards of teacher performance in public, private and Christian schools which are all higher than the minimum for homeschools ... but apparently there are none for homeschoolers in California ... according to you. Not in contemporary educational methodology. A quiet classroom is an inactive classroom. Children sometimes learn in a collabrative manner with each other. That's a part of quality education in any public, private or Christian school. The time for socialisation in school is not what you seem to think it is.
