Canon Digital Cameras

The Canon Power Shot A95 digital camera brings 5-megapixel resolution to Canon's immensely popular line of A-Series cameras. In addition to the new 5-megapixel sensor, the A95 also features a 1.8" LCD screen, which is an improvement over the small 1.5" screen found on its predecessor, the Power Shot A80. The A95 also features 8 new preset scene modes and a FlexiZone auto focus, which allows for greater focus control regardless of where the subject falls in the frame. All these features make the Canon Power Shot A95 a great choice for all photographers who don't want to break the bank. Canon digital cameras like the Power Shot A95 has 5.0 mega pixels (effective), 3x optical zoom/3.6x digital zoom, auto and manual focus, program and manual exposure, JPEG file format only, ISO range 50-400, 4 AA batteries, movie mode with sound. The 32MB Compact Flash card included with the Canon A95 can only hold 11 images at the camera's highest resolution. We strongly recommend purchasing at least a 128MB

card, allowing the storage of a minimum of 49 best-quality JPEG images. Since the A95 ships with non-rechargeable AA batteries, which will drain very rapidly, we also recommend the purchase of 4 AA NiMH batteries and a recharge. If the A95 proves anything it is that you don't need to spend a huge amount of money to get stunning results. I would give a glowing review of the Canon Power Shot A95, which produces very good images and comes at an attractive price. The large LCD screen is an improvement over the A80, and the camera's physical design is superior to most other compact, 5-megapixel models. On the downside, the A95's's focus is slightly slow and its zoom is not particularly fast.
