Can't Find Lawyer???
Q: I was looking for a specific lawyer in Boston. I knew his name. I couldn't find him in the yellow pages. I couldn't find him listed at Lawyers.com, I couldn't find him listed in Martindale-Hubbard. Then I looked for his firm. I couldn't find that listed anywhere. I emailed the state bar association. They emailed me back saying that they only answer technical questions. I know this lawyer and his firm exist but I can't find out how to get in touch with them. How do I find him? I even looked for my general lawyer (who doesn't handle child custody cases). Even he isn't listed! Although I know his address and telephone number. What gives? Telephone books and the internet are useless. Maybe everyone just wants business they get by word of mouth and they don't want to list themselves anymore.
A: That's strange. I know the Texas Bar Association has a page on its website where you can plug in the attorney's name and find the address and phone. Perhaps you should contact the Boston Bar Association and they'll be more helpful?
