Business Card Trouble...help!....

Q: Hey...Ive been making business cards lately (print shop deluxe) and im havin some trouble. 1. The format I used makes the cards shorter and wider then all other cards. Is this ok? Will people look at my cards thinking theyre cheap? 2. How should i cut the cards?? A ruler does not do the job!! Where can i find a card cutter? Also an alternative is to cut the cards into a weird shape...Now that would totally make my cards screwed up!! lol... Or would this be an advantage?? Could I have on the back: " One word: Unique " or somethin like that...I have no clue...any comments/suggestions??

A: Q: Hey...Ive been making business cards lately (print shop deluxe) and im havin some trouble. 1. The format I used makes the cards shorter and wider then all other cards. Is this ok? Will people look at my cards thinking theyre cheap? A: They'll think they're cheap if they look cheap. Hard to say if they'll look cheap without seeing them, but you should be able to adjust fonts so it'll fit on a standard size. Q: 2. How should i cut the cards?? A ruler does not do the job!! Where can i find a card cutter? A: You could take them to a printer and have him cut them. He probably won't charge very much. Actually you might want to have a printer just make the cards for you. It's not very expensive. If you're actually going to pass the cards out and expect to get any shows from them then the small cost of having them done right should pay for itself by having a professional looking card. But if you just want cards cause you think they're cool then it doesn't make any difference what people think of them. Q: Also an alternative is to cut the cards into

a weird shape...Now that would totally make my cards screwed up!! lol... Or would this be anadvantage?? A: It might be an advantage if you made some magical use of the shape. Otherwise it'd probably be a disadvantage. A lot of people store business cards in boxes or files made for that size and shape. If your card won't fit in with the other cards they have then you probably won't be the one they call when they go looking for phone numbers. Q: Could I have on the back: " One word: Unique " or somethin like that...I have no clue...any comments/suggestions?? Thanks A: You can put anything you want on the back. Does 'unique' have some connection to your show?
