Body Detox

Most people associate detox with drug and alcohol abuse programs, but in order to care for your body, detox is necessary for everyone at regular intervals. Doctors will tell you that once you starting eating healthy food, the body naturally goes through a period of detoxification. When you start to replace unhealthy food with food that is rich in protein and other nutrients, the body is better able to get rid of the harmful toxins that have been building up for a long time. When you are choosing food to help the body get rid of the harmful poisons and toxins, you should choose foods that are close to the natural state. This includes cheese, nuts and seeds and meat, poultry and fish. This is because the enzymes and amino acids are all intact. When you want to cleanse your body, detox requires you to omit products containing caffeine, such as tea, coffee, sodas and chocolate. When you watch what you are eating and drinking amazing things start to happen inside your body. It starts to get rid of harmful material that it had been using to build tissues and cells and start using the healthier products from the food to eat to make the entire body healthy. The body does produce signs to let us know when has too many toxins. Headaches are common symptoms when toxins are released from the blood and carried

throughout the body. When you start taking care of your body, detox naturally causes a withdrawal period, especially for foods that you really like and eat a lot of. You carve these foods and your heart rate tends to slow down. You may even feel lethargic because you no longer have the stimulation the foods provided. You may also find that you are going to the bathroom more often as your body starts to eliminate the harmful wastes. This period may last about ten days until you adjust to a new food regimen and diet and is replaced by a feeling of well-being and strength. It is important to have patience and wait it out, no matter how bad you start to feel. Your body will thank you for it.
