Best Online Masters Degree In E-Learning
Q: I have completed a Graduate Certificate in Facilitating and Managing
E-Learning and would like to complete a Masters Degree in E-Learning. Which
university offers the best program? I had heard that Southern Queensland or
Charles Sturt are good, but then read some of the forum posts on this (where
I can't remember, but subscribers to this list like Peter French, et al
posted) which suggested that this might not be so.
A:I am about to go for my Ph.D. in Educational Technology, but I have also
looked at the USQ program and if I was to go for any other degree other
than the Ph.D. I am applying for, I'd take the USQ one in a second.
However, the Master's I do have is from Athabasca University. It is a
Master's of Distance Education...and although it is not specifically
about e-learning, but all distance modes, I believe it to be one of the
most comprehensive master's programs around...check it out at
http://cde.athabascau.ca
two other good programs that offer Master's degrees in Educational
Technology with Distance Education concentrations are Pepperdine
(www.pepperdine.edu) and Nova Southeastern (www.nova.edu)
