Associate Degree In Nursing Online?

Q: I'm looking into a couple of different options.... one is to get my BSN and the other is just to bypass nursing school, attempt my M-Cat exam and head for med school OR, get in touch with the board of nursing, see what I can qualify for in the ways of licensing, do that and then head to Law school. it'd be kinda nice to be able to advocate for some of my patients on a legal scale should they ever need it. I'm kinda going through a phase where I don't know waht I want to do when I grow up. I've got an associate's degree, I'm also a licensed bartender, I've kept my CNA license, I'm also a certified phlebotomist, working on my certification for limited scope radiology. It's amazing really. today I spent the better part of 6 hours online looking for jobs, calling recruiters, getting contacts, faxing and e mailing my resume out there.... I even had a mini interview on the phone. I'm registered with a company called "The Employment Firm" and they will help me to get some administrative contracts for different offices and firms. Everything from working in scheduling for a medical office to transcription of legal documents and litigation reports. mostly secretarial right now unless some miracle happens and I manage to get hired on in one of our local hospitals. I think though I'd be happiest working in the medical field. my grandma always said I had a natural gift for healing..... maybe it's time I began developing and fine tuning it....

A:I have 2 kids in the computer business. One has her degree in Management Information Systems and has been a successful computer systems specialist for a private school for a long time. My son has a degree in computers from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale and does programming, computer repair, web design and IT work. Even though he has 2 bachelor's degrees (one in legal studies and one in computers), he can't get a good job these days. So having your accredidation means nothing if there are no jobs out there. In February, my son goes for the next stage in his quest for becoming a police officer. He will then be able to use his legal studies

degree while fixing all the computers at the police station. Does that mean you are an LPN? Are you going to finish your training or do you want to do something else? Can you get into a hospital training program to finish your degree and get your exams done for licensure? licensing? Can you be an EMT then get the training as continuing education hours? I've had a few phone calls over the last few months but no interviews, though I have daily updates on vacancies sent to me and send out quite a few applications. I suppose this whole ageism thing has annoyed me, though I always suspected it was bad. It was just the degree of the problem that never hit me before.
