Associate Degree In Behavioral Science?
Q: I've been following this group for awhile, but haven't seen a posting for a
faq, so based on the name of the group, thought I'd ask my question here.
Unfortunately, I never finished my ba/s degree, I'm about 15+ credits short.
But I have been in the workplace and the computer industry for the past 18
years. Ideally, I'd like to find a college/university that:
is fully accredited (this is a "must be").
will accept my previous credits, even though the academic courses were taken
(from fully accredited institutions) in the mid 70's.
would give some kind of credit for my 18 years of "life experience" working
in the industry & field where my degree would be pertinent.
would allow any remaining courses that need to be taken to complete the
degree requirements to be taken via computer dial-in/internetting/etc.
A:Many schools will accept those credits, but, it seems, the best
bet would be Regents College, part of the University of the State
of New York. Fully accredited, Regents offers no classes
itself, but will evaluate and accept credits taken at other
institutions. Your existing credits seem to indicate that you
could be eligible for an Associate's Degree already. I received
my second
