Q: As a newbie to the custom of business card exchange, I'm pretty crap. I've been putting them in my wallet which doesn't hold many, marks them and makes me pretty slow on the draw. What are people using to hold their business cards and allow quick access to them?
A: I have a metal business card holder case which I keep in my laptop bag, along with whatever other bits and pieces I need when I go on- site. However, I never seemed to have it with me when I needed it. Like you, I kept some in my wallet (as I almost always have that with me) but they would get bent up. I recently picked up a clear plastic pension card holder from the newsagents or Big W or somewhere which is the perfect size to hold four or five cards, and keep that in my wallet. Seems to be keeping them in much better condition so far.
