Army Correspondence Course Online
Q: AIPD has a great site for correspondence courses but, you can not get
the AMEDD courses from there. Does anyone know of an AMEDD site. All
those infantry courses are good, but I would like to be able to knock
out the ones relevant to my MOS at the same pace. Gotta get those STPA
points in.
A:There is an e-mail address on the AIPD site for AMEDD. E-mail them and they
will set you up. You have to fill out the paper form like the "old" days...
but they will tell you exactly what to do. (I'm enrolled in the "Combat
Lifesaver Continuation Course).
"We're all here, 'cause we aint all there!"
I am not aware of any such program. You may be able to pick up an Analysis
or Abstract algebra course, though. I would have loved to finish a math
program when I was in the Army, but, alas, I wasn't so lucky. If you find
such a program, please post back here with the details. But, as far as I
know, there is no college or university with a complete math degree program
online.
University of Wisconsin used to have a pretty decent selection of
correspondence courses in math, and you could ask if you were
interested in courses not specifically offered in the correspondence
catalog.
University of Waterloo (Ontario, Canada) also had some range of math
courses.
There exist various external degree programs to which such credits
could be applied.
