Army Correspondence Course Distance Learning, Distance Education - RMC
Q: Has anyone here taken any courses via distance learning from RMC ? After many years of putting it off due to apathy, laziness, procrastination etc (lol) I now have the time (semi-retarded) to work toward a B
A: Some of my
questions are:
1. Do they credit mil courses (OPDP, TQ6B etc) toward their credits?
2. Is the cost lower than civ universities ?
3. and anything else relavent
A:Here is the Admissions Page to the Continuing Studies Department (under
which Distance Learning fall). It should help you out.

I'm working, when I can , on my Bach of Military Arts & Science through RMC.
Good system with reasonable costs (1/2 compared to U of Manitoba who also
credits mil trg), OPDP (or OPME as they are now called) are mostly credit
courses except for the first two, some of the mil trg is credited and they
allow for exercises, deployments, etc...
On the minus, they are a small organisation (Distance Learning) and
therefore take a long time to return homework, exam results, etc ...
Overall I'm happy with my studies there, even if sometimes I feel like
distance learning is not sometime RMC wanted to do, and would recommend it
to anyone that wants to study those few diplomas they offer. Specifically,
its a good thing for serving personnel since they understand our way of life
and will make great accomodation for deployments and now the OPME are
university credit courses.

at Queens U and
