Anyone Try GolfTEC Learning Center?
Q: Has anyone here ever tried GolfTEC learning center where they hook you up with all those biofeedback sensors? Is it much better than straight video analysis?
A: watched people at GolfTEC, but ended up choosing to go with Bogart because it was closer. While I was there I never saw anybody wearing the harness, but it is there to show you figures on just how your body moves. Bogart also has the fancy mats that determine how your clubface hits the ball, so if you're working on a slice or something that could help. But its main advantage is the same as Bogarts - you can practice again and again, checking your instant replay on the computer monitors. Actually, Bogart gives you a choice of 3 camera angles, and GolfTEC always gives you 2 camera angles. The GolfTEC I saw had more room for each person, but was more isolated, so when you are just practicing, you probably won't get "free" advice from the pros. If you are wanting to rebuild your swing, spend the time and practice just about every day for long enough time to groove the new swing in. I spent 4 months at Bogart, and figure on returning this winter. The good practice with good feedback is more important than the lessons and evaluation.
