Anybody Else Here Deal With Real Estate Law Regularly
Q: I don't think ive ever asked you what you do for a living...though i know you travel a bit how does your job relate to real estate law? had any interaction with a r/e law paralegal.. what do you do?
A: I'm a commercial real estate broker. I have a specialty in self storage buildings, but I know a little bit about most other commercial income properties (i.e., offices, shopping plazas, hotels, parking lots, industrial space, etc.). But my job definately includes a good deal of reading contracts and talking with lawyers.. So, while there are areas that I'm murky on (i.e., reps & warranties), I know a good deal about r/e law. But I have no familiarity at all with residential real estate law, other than standard apartment leases... I've never had any interaction with a r/e law paralegal.. what do you do?
