Q: i am a masters student and i am currently working on a research · to study how quality training for middle management is carried out in Malaysian manufacturing companies focussing on training efficiency and training effectiveness. · To study what comprises of a quality training profile. The aims and objectives of this research are: · To study what is the quality training profile for middle management in manufacturing companies. · To find out whether quality training for middle management in Malaysia involves the evaluation of training effectiveness. Does the training model proceed right up to the end of training effectiveness or just stops at the evaluation of training efficiency or perhaps no evaluation at all? And if so, to find out does the evaluation of quality training effectiveness show that training is linked to the business plan and therefore contributing to organizational effectiveness? Does the evaluation help to strengthen the link? How efficient is the evaluation of quality training effectiveness being carried out? How has it helped the trainers to improve their training skills? How has it helped the business of quality training? And if so, also to find out how is evaluation of quality training effectiveness being carried out? What criteria of effectiveness of quality training are being used? How is training effectiveness measured :- Measured in terms of increased individual/team performance levels? Or increased levels of organizational effectiveness? · The scope of study will also touch on : Training objectives Determining training needs Training administration Training facilities Training sponsorship Training content/cost/hours Attitudes towards training and Perception of training organizations particularly on quality training for middle management. I assume your next step is to design a survey or structured interview form. - You may find slaves ready to work without going so far. Does anybody else on this forum try to sell AT HOME (US or Canada), the generous idea of TQM in a blue-jeans manufacture? Where peoples are bended on their sewing machine 8 hours a day for a miserable salary about 9 $ Can/h and with the only hope is that the enterprise wil not close the next month to be moved in a business paradise as one described above. I guess the feeling if you talk these people about new mangement mode to increase production ratio. I'm not against TQM or ISO, but more on what we have done of it. - Because the malaysians have been wise enough to invest in their own infra structure. Each company has a tax which is returned to them in training. Their management is among the highest skilled and paid in South East Asia. They are exporting their style of management to other developing countries. The young man is not talking about slaves. He is talking about a proud free people who work hard and know how to have fin.
