Acid Reflux Remedy
Q: I just want to find out the most suitable remedy for my acid reflux problems.What is the fastest home remedy for acid reflux?
I don't want to go to the store to buy anything, but am having pretty bad pains. I know it is acid reflux because I have had it before, and I would like to know if anyone knows of any home remedies on how to ease the stabbing pain

A:You can use baking soda and water. It will make you burp.
About 1/2 cup water 1/2 tsp. of baking soda. It's a very old fashioned alternative, but it works
Some people get results from about 1/3 teaspoon of baking soda in water, and drink it down. Helps buffer the acids causing your trouble. If it persists, call you doctor. there are medications which do a great job with reflux.
I don't have a home remedy, sorry, but if you have bad acid reflux you need to see a doctor and get something like prevacid to help neutralize the acid. This can be really dangerous and cause esophagus cancer. I have been on prescription drugs for this for years and use to suffer terribly with back pain between my shoulders caused from it also
