Accelerated Law Degree, Low Priced Accelerated Mster's Degrees ?

Q: I've added the beginnings of the links to value priced distance learning master degrees and good meta link sites. Some of these may be well known to some: others not. Sheffield Hallam University, UK, offers the MA in Imperialism and Culture. Pure self indulgence perhaps, but accessible to most at a snip under $3000 complete. M.Ed. from USQ at $3600 is fairly well known. The crop of LLM degrees from Northumbria University at Newcastle, UK, at $4500 including all books, perhaps less so - no JD or LLB required, and campus visits are optional. The US $4000 M.Ed.in Educational Computing from the University of South Australia requires just four (4) courses. Also the iCDL site, a well designed comprehensive database of UK DL offerings for those interested but who may not be aware of it. The GoodGuides, of course . . .

A:Prices listed on BA in 4 Weeks site are correct and current, I believe. You may find other prices quoted elsewhere on the net that are out of date. Also, it's worth noting that though the programs cited require no campus visits, that isn't always as clear as it might be in the official literature. Full listing beginning construction at http://geocities.com/ba_in_4_weeks/masterslist.html Some offerings in the completed list will be the focus of the new series, "7 weeks study to an accredited Master's degree", which should start to appear this year. If the student is properly organized, study time required on some degrees can comprises as little as of 7 weeks. Official institutional time to completion and degree conferral varies from eight months to two years. Small part of the Master's section in the BA in 4 Weeks web site is now operating. Among the programs featured are: . A UK MA for under $3000 - materials included . A Master's in Accounting for under $6000 . A real LLM with no need of JD for $4500 inclusive of all study materials. . A real M.Ed. in 4 courses for $4000 . A real MBA for well under $6K inclusive of all study materials . A real MS in IT for $7K inclusive of most study materials At these low prices the cost of books can comprise a significant proportion of total costs (typically, another $2000 above program tuition costs) and so the "inclusive" bit can become an important consideration for those on a tight budget. Note that all degrees detailed in the BA in 4 Weeks

manuals or otherwise recommended in the web pages are conferred by US regionally accredited institutions or the foreign equivalent of US regionally accredited institutions. BA in 4 Weeks is a non commercial resource for adult learners. Several of these are 'conversion' degrees and are simply undergraduate modules repackaged e.g. the Masters in Accounting is actually a masters of Professional Accounting so it isn't even a MAcc - and it is a qualifying degree for professional registration membership. Its subjects are not masters topics, master level content, or master level assessments. Be aware before you buy - are you after a parchment or a quality masters degree?
