(Roseville?) Pottery Planter???

Q: I just aquired this piece of pottery this morning. It's not marked in any way but it looks like Roseville. So I did a search on yabe for Roseville planters and and a near exact match came up. The planter pictured is the one on yabe as I don't have a decent digital camera. The only difference between mine and the one on yabe is that the one on yabe has some numbers on the bottom. (If you want to see that mark, do a search for Roseville planter. It ends today very soon, so search for auctions ended.) Anyway...I don't know much about Roseville (yet) but I was pleased to see 16 bids on the one that's up for auction. Makes me think I did good. Question/Discussion : Do you think that roseville will continue to stay popular with collectors in the years to come? (Or do you think it will go out of fashion and go down in value in the years to come). I know that Roseville is very collectible, and it can command some high prices. And I'm thinking I might be better off to hang on to my new planter. Just a gut feeling. On the other hand, I could try to sell it for 40 or 50$ and be done with it...after all...I'm always good for breaking something by accident. Geez, I don't even

know for sure if it IS Roseville. I just took a guess, then found it on yabe...but the yabe seller wasn't positive it was Roseville either. I need a good Roseville site. I'm yapping too much now. :-o Input is always appreciated,

A: Okay, what makes you think so? Is it because the colors don't look bright? Also, I'm looking at mine and noticing it sit's crooked. I've just looked through a few hundred images of Roseville and didn't see this particular pattern anywhere. I know the picture doesn't show it, bit it's a cluster of green leaves with a few green berries in the center. this is on both sides. I'll try to scan a better view.
