Google on Net NeutralityDavid Donnelly | March 30 At first, I thought it was another of those famed Google April Fools' Day jokes, just a week early. They may have pioneered a new business model, but they're apparently relying on politics-as-usual. The question is, why do they have to? David and I have traded a few emails and he too is extremely worried about net-neutrality, hence the op-ed at c|net. In a perfect world I'd love for Google to enact David's plan. It's ideal for who and what Google is. But we don't live in a perfect world and I suspect what will end up happening, once the major political blogosphere gets off their collective butt, is an amalgam of David's approach and the K Street approach. Happily, everyone can start by checking out our Net Neutrality Forum. Post news, track news, tells us what's happening in your neighborhood on this issue. It's critical and it's up to you to make this work. Sean Paul Kelley March 30, 2006 - 3:21pm
